NAMBA 03. The center of Street fashion "Orange Street"

The center of Street fashion "Orange Street"

Orange street was a furniture store alley in Osaka, which existed since 1800s. There were also many second-hand tools in the Meiji period, and especially during the period of rapid growth before and after Meiji, the household name became known throughout the country. The traditional Japanese furniture store, which has been in business for a long time, is now nicknamed "Orange Street, Dachibana," and is receiving attention as a new cultural source.

Osaka's Street Fashion began with Amemura and Orange Street. Orange Street is full of young people on weekends, with its fashionable shops, such as cafes, boutiques, miscellaneous goods, imported furniture and interior shops, lined up on both sides of the street, which is about 800 meters long.

Representative brands include editing shops and cute little props, such as CARHARTT, SUPREME, BAPE, CHAMPION, Undefeated, Head Potter, Nigel Cabourn, Nepenthes, Biotap, Flying Tiger, etc.
