Be born under the name of Naniwa Osaka

Since Dika's founding, Japan has used the first emperor's title, and Osaka was the key capital of Okami's ruling. At that time, the name of Osaka was called Naniwa, because there was a large wetland called Naniwa. Since then, Osaka has continued to grow as a key point of transportation in western Japan, a large port, and a major point of transportation in the waterway, and has been growing.

Become Osaka in the 15th century.

After the War in 1583, the city of Hideyoshi Toyotomi built a castle in Osaka, collecting the people of the surrounding villages under the walls of the lord's residence under the walls, the Osaka Hirano merchant (Oosaka City), the Kyoto Hikindo (Kyoto City), and the Shakai merchant (Sakai City), and building a village in Osaka.

Osaka was temporarily devastated by the summer war that Toyotomi's family died in, but the Edo Ministry rebuilt Osaka Castle by using the direct route of Osaka. Osaka became the center of the economy and business where Japanese logistics concentrated, and was called the "Cheater of Heaven." With this economic development, Osaka has blossomed into the Kenroku culture (17th-18th-century Japanese folk culture).

Meiji Restoration, Transforms into Osaka Today

In 1889, the Meiji government made Osaka City in Osaka. The city of Osaka then merged surrounding cities and countryside, and in 1925, it spread almost to its present territory. As a result, the original name of the city, Osaka, points to a wide area as it is now.
